Shilpa Medicare gets nod to merge Raichem Life Sciences with itself

Shilpa Medicare has received an approval to merge Raichem Life Sciences, a 100% subsidiary of the company with itself to have cost synergies and other operational benefits. The company has received an approval for merger at its board meeting held on August 11, 2011.

Recently, Shilpa Medicare had acquired controlling stake in Nu Therapeutics. Nu is established by the Technocarts for manufacturing of “Oral Fast Dissolving Thin Strip Dosage” jointly with others. It had filed several patents, technical designs/plans, concepts and expects to commence production shortly. In India it is one of few units of its kind.

Shilpa Medicare produces and exports consistently high-quality Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Fine Chemicals, intermediates, herbal products and speciality chemical products using sophisticated technology, meticulously following international specifications.
