According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 489.38 crore in index futures and options segments on Thursday, August 16, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 14.15 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 475.23 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 341.15 crore, while they also sold stock options worth Rs 55.44 crore.
