Chennai Petroleum Corporation has announced the results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2011.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 314.11 crore for the fourth quarter as compared to a loss of Rs 61.06 crore for the same quarter last year. Its net sales/ income from operation has increased by 88.65% to Rs 10310.34 crore for the quarter to from Rs 5465.26 crore in the same quarter previous year.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 511.52 crore for FY11, down by 15.20% as compared to Rs 603.22 crore in the last year. Net sales/ income from operation have increased by 32.57% to Rs 33107.82 crore for the year from Rs 24972.63 crore in last year.
Chennai Petroleum Corporation has recommended a dividend of 120% on the paid-up equity capital of the company.
