Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 6,44,850.26 crore on May 03 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 97,24,291 .
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 14,372.63 crore, Stock Futures Rs 40,624.3 crore and Index Options Rs 5,57,889.71 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 31,963.62 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.80, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.82 and that of Stock Options was 0.55.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Mindtree (2.20), Just Dial (1.55), Bosch (1.45), Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals (1.28) and NIIT Technologies (1.24).
Among most active underlying, Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 0.61 million units of Open Interest in the May month futures contract, followed by ICICI Bank witnessing an addition of 4.46 million units of Open Interest in the May month contract, Tata Motors witnessed an addition of 1.14 million units of Open Interest in the May month contract, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 2.11 million units of Open Interest in the May month contract and Tata Consultancy Services witnessed an addition of 0.32 million units of Open Interest in the May month future contract.
