Bharat Forge surges on rolling out one millionth finished machined crankshaft

Bharat Forge is currently trading at Rs. 453.30, up by 5.40 points or 1.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 447.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 448.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 454.00 and Rs. 447.95 respectively. So far 3108 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 735.00 on 17-May-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 445.10 on 16-May-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 465.00 and Rs. 445.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 20853.71 crore.

Bharat Forge has rolled out the one millionth finished machined crankshaft that powers heavy duty engines of Daimler AG. The company exclusively supplies machined crankshafts for the 13L & 15L engine platforms to Detroit Diesel, USA.

Additionally, the company also shares the 13L platform with Daimler’s Mannheim plant in Germany. These flagship engines of Daimler AG are considered to be among the most technology enabled high performance heavy duty engines in commercial vehicles.

Bharat Forge is engaged in manufacturing of close die and open die forging, crankshafts, front axle beams, steering knuckle, connecting rods, rocker arm and many more components.
