Physical Rubber prices witness some firmness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed some firmness on Tuesday due to robust demand from domestic stockists against ongoing supply crunch in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 144/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 141.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 141/ kg.

In the futures market, June delivery fell to Rs 146.17 compared to its previous closing of Rs 146.54, while July delivery was at Rs 146.01 compared to its previous close of Rs 146.50 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
