FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 31 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7552.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 5479.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2072.63 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 836.06 crore with gross sales of Rs 1513.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 677.63 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4.89 crore against gross selling of Rs 1.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3.10 crore in hybrid segment.
