Tata Steel BSL has informed that NCLT vide its order dated May 30, 2019 (NCLT Order), has approved the Resolution Plan submitted by Tata Steel for acquiring controlling stake in BEL.The Resolution Plan provides that, the acquisition of BEL may be carried out by Tata Steel or through a Special Purpose Vehicle incorporated for this purpose or through any of its Affiliates / Subsidiaries / Group Companies or through a combination of the foregoing.
