Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has informed that the corporation on August 23, 2012 allotted 16,06,390 equity shares of Rs. 2 each, of the corporation, comprising 11,47,800 equity shares of Rs. 2 each pursuant to exchange of 11,47,800 warrants and 4,58,590 equity shares of Rs. 2 each pursuant to exercise of stock options by certain employee/directors.
Further, the corporation has extinguished the said 11,47,800 warrants and the outstanding warrants post the said exchange stands at 37,06,505. Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the corporation would stand at Rs. 306,49,81,940 consisting of 153,24,90,970 equity shares of Rs. 2 each.
