Asian markets trade in green in early deals on Friday

Asian equity benchmarks are trading in green in early deals on Friday amid investors are awaiting the outcome of the US-Mexico trade negotiations and the release of US jobs data for May later in the day. Japanese Nikkei is also in positive territory in line with the positive cues from Wall Street, with the major exporters trading higher and a weaker yen. The China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indonesian stock markets are closed for a holiday. Among the other Asian markets, North Korea, Singapore and Malaysia are in positive lead.

Nikkei 225 up 125.00 points or 0.60% to 20,899.04, Straits Times rose by 12.17 points or 0.39% to 3,158.35, KOSPI Shares jump 7.47 points or 0.36% to 2,076.58, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI enlarge by 4.88 points or 0.30% to 1,648.97.
