Hind Industries trades higher on reporting decent FY12 numbers

Hind Industries is currently trading at Rs. 31.75, up by 0.95 points or 3.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 30.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 32.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.30 and Rs. 31.75 respectively. So far 34 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 41.80 on 21-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 24.30 on 20-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 32.30 and Rs. 29.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 27.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.57% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.00% and 52.44% respectively.

Hind Industries has reported results for the year ended March 31, 2012.

The company has registered a jump of 24.23% in its net profit at Rs 2.41 crore for the year under review as compared to Rs 1.94 crore in the previous year. The net income from operation of the company has increased marginally by 1.33% at Rs 141.41 crore for FY12 as compared Rs 139.55 crore in FY11.

The company is presently engaged in the processing of Frozen/Fresh meat (Buffalo/Sheep) with an installed capacity of 15 000 tpa at Sahibabad Distt. Ghaziabad (U.P.).
