Physical Rubber prices witness firmness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed firmness on Tuesday due to fresh enquiries from the tyre sector. Though, expectation of a rise in India's natural rubber production, trimmed some gains. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety jumped to 152/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 150/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained Rs 149/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147/ kg.

In the futures market, July delivery was at Rs 157.63 compared to its previous close of Rs 156.99 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
