Asian markets trade mostly in green in early deals on Tuesday

Most of the Asian equity benchmarks are trading in green in early deals on Tuesday, following the overnight gains on Wall Street. However, investors are cautious as they awaited the outcome of the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan meetings due this week. The Japanese market gave up modest gains earlier in the session and is currently lower. Among the other Asian markets, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shanghai, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore are trading in green.

Hang Seng up by 200.10 points or 0.73% to 27,427.26, Taiwan Weighted increases by 13.54 points or 0.13% to 10,544.08, KOSPI Index jumps to 8.88 points or 0.42% to 2,099.61, Jakarta Composite was up by 47.93 points or 0.77% to 6,238.46, Shanghai increases by 2.36 points or 0.08% to 2,889.98, FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI jumps to 6.17 points or 0.38% to 1,644.57, and Straits Times was up by 26.03 points or 0.81% to 3,234.02.

On the flip side, Nikkei 225 down 74.92 points or 0.36% to 21,106.92.
