According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 732.82 crore in index futures and options segments on Friday, August 24, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 146.79 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 586.03 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 571.75 crore, while also sold stock options worth Rs 119.22 crore.
