Bharti Airtel inks pact with Microsoft for offering cloud computing services

Bharti Airtel, leading global telecommunications company has inked pact with Microsoft India to offer cloud computing services to small and medium business enterprises (SMBs). As per the deal, Microsoft will provide its product (MS 365), Bharti Airtel will provide connectivity and its services.

In the last month, Bharti Airtel partnered with Hewlett Packard India to offer cloud-based solutions for SMBs. Both companies aim to create a cloud computing market, which is potential by perfecting the customer experience.

The company has reported a fall of 2.63% in its net profit at Rs 1470.00 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 1432.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income from operation of the company has increased by 7.86% at Rs 10980.60 crore for Q1FY13 as compared Rs 10180.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
