Physical Rubber prices witness some improvement on Monday

Physical Rubber prices showed some improvement on Monday due to higher demand from tyre makers and domestic stockists. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 151/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 148.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 148/ kg.

In the futures market, July delivery fell to Rs 150.33 compared to its previous closing of Rs 151.81, while August delivery was at Rs 145.90 compared to its previous close of Rs 147.74 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
