Asian markets trade mostly in green in early deals on Thursday

Most of the Asian equity benchmarks are trading higher on Thursday, after trade tensions between the US and China eased a little as they agreed to refrain from new tariffs pending a new round of negotiations. Technical buying after previous session steep losses also boosted the market sentiments. The Japanese Nikkei is trading higher following modest gains from Wall Street overnight. Among the other Asian markets, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, are in positive lead. Bucking the trend, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Malaysia are trading lower.

Nikkei 225 up 68.15 points or 0.31% to 21,706.31, Straits Times rise 4.61 points or 0.14% to 3,372.41, Taiwan Weighted enlarge 26.71 points or 0.25% to 10,770.48, KOSPI Index increase 1.59 points or 0.08% to 2,097.61, Jakarta Composite higher by 14.44 points or 0.23% to 6,377.06, 

On the flip side, Shanghai was diminish by 8.05 points 0.27% to 3,007.21, Hang Seng down 30.94 points or 0.11% to 28,824.20, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI decreases 0.54 points or 0.03% to 1,689.51.
