Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Thursday following tepid demand from stockist. Rubber prices fell further as arrivals are expected to rise in the coming days as tapping has commenced in key growing regions in Kerala. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to 150.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 151/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 148.50/ kg.

In the futures market, July delivery fell to Rs 148.63 compared to its previous closing of Rs 149.06, while August delivery was at Rs 144.15 compared to its previous close of Rs 144.92 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
