Physical rubber prices remain unchanged on Tuesday

Physical rubber prices remained unchanged on Tuesday, though there was some decline in the futures market but trade remained thin as the traders were seen in holiday mood ahead of Onam.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 171/kg and Rs 161/kg respectively.

In the futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for September delivery closed lower at Rs 170.02 compared to its previous closing of Rs 172.50, while the contract for October delivery closed at Rs 168.17 compared to its previous closing of Rs 170.79 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
