Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 10,46,886.87 crore on July 5 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,43,24,430.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 27,593.27 crore, Stock Futures Rs 54,439.01 crore and Index Options Rs 9,11,763.00 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 53,091.59 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.79, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.80 and that of Stock Options was 0.60.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Bosch (2.50), Page Industries (2.25), NIIT Technologies (2.03), Mahanagar Gas (1.25) and Piramal Enterprises (1.14).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 3.14 million units of Open Interest in the July month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing a contraction of 0.22 million units of Open Interest in the July month contract, Indiabulls Housing Finance witnessed an addition of 0.53 million units of Open Interest in the July month contract, ITC witnessed an addition of 1.11 million units of Open Interest in the July month contract and Tata Consultancy Services witnessed an addition of 0.75 million units of Open Interest in the July month future contract.
