Dalmia Bharat Enterprises has picked 560,000 shares of Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries from the secondary market. The company has bought the shares at Rs 19.49 a piece on the NSE on August 28, 2012.
Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries currently operates an aggregate of 22,500 tonne cane crushed per day at its existing plants in Uttar Pradesh and is a key supplier of sugar in the North Indian markets.
Dalmia Bharat Enterprise is a cement manufacturer with plants in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of nine million tonnes per annum. The company is engaged in the business of cement, thermal power & other businesses.
