Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on tepid demand

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Thursday amid tepid demand from stockiest and expectations of higher supply in coming weeks. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 149.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 150/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 147/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147.50/ kg.

In the futures market, August delivery gained to Rs 142.37 compared to its previous closing of Rs 142.10 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
