RNAM inches up on the bourses

Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management is currently trading at Rs. 227.50, up by 0.50 points or 0.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 227.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 227.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 227.90 and Rs. 226.85 respectively. So far 24843 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 278.95 on 06-Aug-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 120.20 on 14-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 227.90 and Rs. 226.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13923.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 85.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.78% and 4.47% respectively.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given approval to Nippon Life Insurance to acquire up to 75% stake in Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management (RNAM).
In May, Reliance Capital had said it will exit the mutual fund business by selling its stake in RNAM to its joint venture partner Japan's Nippon Life Insurance.

Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management acts as an adviser to India-focussed equity funds and fixed-income funds in Japan and South Korea. It also manages offshore funds through its subsidiaries in Singapore and Mauritius, catering to investors across Asia, the US and Europe.
