India's crude oil production declines by 7% to 2,688.06 TMT in June

The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas in its latest provisional data has showed that India's crude oil production declined by 6.81% to 2,688.06 Thousand Metric Tonnes (TMT) in the month of June 2019, as compared to 2,884.39 TMT in June 2018. It is the lowest since February. Cumulative crude oil production during April-June, 2019 was 8,206.57 TMT, 6.82% lower than production of 8,807.17 TMT during corresponding period of last year.

As per the data, natural gas production during June, 2019 was 2636.10 Million Metric Standard Cubic Meter per Day (MMSCM), 1.56% lower than 2677.88 MMSCM in June, 2018. Cumulative natural gas production during April-June, 2019 was 8030.85 MMSCM, 0.47% lower than production of 8068.82 MMSCM during corresponding period of last year.

The data also showed that refinery production during June, 2019 was 20302.66 TMT, 7.15% lower as compared to 21865.02 TMT in June, 2018. Cumulative production during April-June, 2019 was 62583.57 TMT, 2.15% lower than the production of 63958.95 TMT during corresponding period of last year.
