HUL rises on reporting 14% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Hindustan Unilever is currently trading at Rs. 1700.00, up by 6.80 points or 0.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 1693.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1694.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1712.00 and Rs. 1679.70 respectively. So far 25597 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1870.50 on 17-Dec-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1477.90 on 11-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1763.00 and Rs. 1660.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 366544.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.99% and 13.82% respectively.

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has reported 14.78% rise in its net profit at Rs 1755 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 1529 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 6.64% at Rs 10261 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 9622 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 14.40% in its net profit at Rs 1795 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 1569 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income of the company increased by 6.06% at Rs 10509 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 9909 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
