Jayaswal Neco Industries has planned to undertake routine capital repairs and maintenance of its blast furnace at the steel plant division of the company in the first week of September 2012. This is a part of normal schedule, which is to be done every two years to enhance life of the blast furnace and keep it healthy and in order.
In view of the above, blast furnace will be temporarily shut down from 6.00 AM on September 04, 2012 to 6.00 AM on September 09, 2012 and as a consequence, steel melt shop, rolling mills and power plant will also be temporarily shut down from September 04, 2012 to September 12, 2012. Other manufacturing units in steel plant division and all the manufacturing units of the company shall continue to be operational.

The company’s Steel segment engages in the manufacture and sale of pig iron, billets, rolled products, and sponge iron.
