Religare Enterprises moves up as its arm raises stake in Hindustan Tin Works by 2.41%

Religare Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 323.00, up by 2.85 points or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 320.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 323.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 323.00 and Rs. 323.00 respectively. So far 1 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 450.00 on 13-Oct-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 317.05 on 30-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 338.00 and Rs. 317.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4825.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.77% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.63% and 25.60% respectively.  

Religare Enterprises’ subsidiary - Religare Finvest has hiked its stake in Hindustan Tin Works by 2.41% to 14.09%. Prior to stake hike, Religare Finvest had 12.15 lakh shares or 11.68% in Hindustan Tin Works. It now holds 14.65 lakh shares in the company. As on June 30, Hindustan Tin Works’ promoters had 38.35% holding in the company.

Religare Finvest offers debt capital to SMEs in the form of loans against property, working capital loans, loans against plant and machinery, vehicles and construction equipment and loan against marketable securities among others.

Hindustan Tin Works provides flexible packaging solutions which are being used extensively for all major FMCG, Food & Non-Food packed products.
