V-Mart Retail has opened three new stores in the state of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab respectively. Further the company has also closed two stores in the state of Jharkhand and in Delhi respectively.
With this total number of stores increased to 229 in 179 cities across 17 states and total tally of stores in Rajasthan to 6, in Uttar Pradesh to 90 and in Punjab to 4.
V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
