Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Monday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Monday, tracking declines in the global markets on escalating trade tensions between the US and China. Further, rubber prices remained under pressure on expectations of a rise in supply amid subdued demand from tyre makers.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 146.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 147/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 143/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 144/ kg.
