Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Tuesday, tracking declines in the global markets on escalating trade tensions between the world’s two largest economies. Further, rubber prices remained under pressure on expectations of a rise in supply amid subdued demand from tyre makers.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 145.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 146.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 142.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143/ kg.
