Ramco Cements gains on reporting 52% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Ramco Cements is currently trading at Rs. 739.10, up by 2.75 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 736.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 749.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 750.00 and Rs. 732.60 respectively. So far 14117 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 845.10 on 27-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 546.30 on 23-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 750.00 and Rs. 699.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17392.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.30% and 18.95% respectively.

The company has reported a rise of 53.60% in its net profit at Rs 191.97 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 124.98 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.66% at Rs 1,392.06 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 1,224.80 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 51.79% in its net profit at Rs 194.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 127.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.77% at Rs 1,396.82 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 1,227.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
