Tata Steel to cut capex to Rs 8,000 crore in FY20

Tata Steel is eyeing to revise the planned capital expenditure for the 2019-20 fiscal to Rs 8,000 crore from Rs 12,000 crore. Of the Rs 12,000 crore, the company had initially planned to spend around Rs 8,000 crore on India operations.

Tata Steel, the flagship company of the Tata group is the first integrated steel plant in Asia and is now the world’s second most geographically diversified steel producer and a Fortune 500 company.
