Reliance Industries has informed that Mansingh L Bhakta, an Independent Director of the Company, has demitted his office as a Director of the Company effective from the conclusion of the 42nd Annual General Meeting (Post- IPO) held August 12, 2019, on account of advanced age. Mansingh L Bhakta has confirmed that there is no other material reason for demitting his office as Director of the Company. Mansingh L. Bhakta joined as a Director of the Company in 1977, just before Company's Initial Public Issue (IPO). The Board of Directors has placed on record its deep appreciation for the invaluable contribution made by Mansingh L. Bhakta to the growth and governance of the Company.
