Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Friday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Friday, pressured by sluggish demand from tyre makers. However, expectations of a fall in output and fresh demand from domestic stockists after a recent fall in prices, capped some losses.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 145/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 146/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 142/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143/ kg.
