Bharti Airtel gains on the buzz of tying up with Uttar Pradesh government

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 364.25, up by 2.95 points or 0.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 361.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 362.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 366.05 and Rs. 362.05 respectively. So far 44647 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 378.75 on 08-Aug-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 254.29 on 22-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 365.00 and Rs. 346.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 187008.69 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.71%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.19% and 2.10% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has reportedly tied up with Uttar Pradesh government to implement a future-ready state wide area network (SWAN) to provide citizens access to the government’s digital services. The service is another initiative for the grassroots penetration of the e-governance services under the various state and central government policies.
