FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 20 data: NSDL

20 Aug 2019 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3217.78 crore against gross selling of Rs 3482.82 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 265.04 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3256.87 crore with gross sales of Rs 1726.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1530.02 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 62.47 crore against gross selling of Rs 9.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 53.41 crore in hybrid segment.
