Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Saturday

Physical rubber prices ruled flat on Saturday, pressured by sluggish demand from tyre makers, while expectations of higher imports too weighed on rubber prices. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 140/ kg and Rs 136/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, September delivery fell to Rs 135.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 136.12, while October delivery was at Rs 130.01 compared to its previous close of Rs 131.71 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
