A fire broke out at Nectar Lifesciences’ Unit II, Village Saidpura, Tehsil Derabassi, District S.A.S, Nagar (Mohali) Punjab, on August 24, 2019.
The exact cause of fire/ explosion and financial losses could not be worked out as detailed investigations are required for this purpose. However, the plant has been fully insured to meet losses caused by fire/ explosion.
The company is taking the necessary steps to restore the normalcy of production.
