FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 26 data: NSDL

26 Aug 2019 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4342.20 crore against gross selling of Rs 6171.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1828.80 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 431.32 crore with gross sales of Rs 1597.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1166.34 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 6.58 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.10 crore in hybrid segment.
