Tata Steel rises on inking MoU with TERI

Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 355.75, up by 0.45 points or 0.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 355.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 356.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 360.60 and Rs. 348.35 respectively. So far 797879 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 646.70 on 21-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 322.45 on 26-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 360.60 and Rs. 327.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 42686.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 44.16% and 21.61% respectively.

Tata Steel has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) for the third phase of Green School project that will increase the project’s area of influence to 34 schools in Jharkhand and Odisha. The third phase of the project will be implemented in four new schools in Angul, Odisha, and is expected to reach out to more than 9000 school children and 450 teachers directly and around 5,00,000 community members indirectly.
