Voltas rises on joining hand with Tata Power to promote energy efficient ACs in Mumbai

Voltas is currently trading at Rs. 642.25, up by 2.20 points or 0.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 640.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 644.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 644.00 and Rs. 640.90 respectively. So far 3919 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 662.15 on 01-Jul-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 471.00 on 08-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 644.00 and Rs. 606.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21178.28 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.30%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 48.88% and 20.41% respectively.

Voltas has entered into partnership with Tata Power to promote energy efficient ACs in Mumbai. As part of the exclusive scheme, the consumers will be able to avail up to 50% discount on purchase of Voltas’ 5-star rated ACs. The partnership is in line with the Group’s energy conversation drive.

Under the scheme, Tata Power’s consumers in the city can exchange their ACs for Voltas’ 5-star rated inverter split AC (1 ton, 1.5 ton and 2 ton). The scheme is open for residential segments of consumers, wherein one AC can be purchased under this scheme, and for the commercial segment, the customer can buy two ACs.
