Voltas inches up on eyeing 20% volume growth during FY20

Voltas is currently trading at Rs. 636.50, up by 1.60 points or 0.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 634.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 645.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 645.00 and Rs. 634.80 respectively. So far 6702 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 662.15 on 01-Jul-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 471.00 on 08-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 645.00 and Rs. 626.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21060.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.30%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 48.88% and 20.41% respectively.

Voltas is eyeing a 20% volume growth during this fiscal year, despite widening slowdown. The company, which sold 1.25 million in FY19, is expecting volume to touch 1.5 million units by March.
