Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Wednesday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Wednesday due to sluggish demand from tyre makers and domestic stockists. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 131/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 133/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 127/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 129/ kg.

In the futures market, October delivery gained to Rs 126.88 compared to its previous closing of Rs 126.84 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
