Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Thursday on account of sluggish demand from tyre markers and domestic stockists. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 130/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 131/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 126/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 127/ kg.

In the futures market, October delivery fell to Rs 123.70 compared to its previous closing of Rs 124.79, while November delivery was at Rs 120.75 compared to its previous close of Rs 121.67 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
