Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has asked NMDC to focus on augmenting the output of iron ore as it would have the benefit of keeping prices of the raw material used in steel making in check.
Pradhan, who visited the corporate office of NMDC at Hyderabad, reviewed the performance of the company during his interaction with the top management of the company.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
