Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Thursday on account of sluggish demand from tyre makers amid a rise in imports. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 122/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 123.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 119/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 121.50/ kg.

In the futures market, October delivery fell to Rs 121 compared to its previous closing of Rs 121.25, while November delivery was at Rs 118 compared to its previous close of Rs 117.55 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
