Bond yields traded flat on Monday, as investors remained cautious ahead of state governments sell notes today.

In the global market, U.S. government bond yields fell Friday after data showing the economy added fewer new jobs in September than the month before. Furthermore, Oil prices fell, extending last week’s heavy losses, with traders fearing the global economic slowdown will weigh on future oil demand growth while pegging hopes for a rebound on progress in talks this week on ending the U.S.-China trade war.

Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading flat at its previous close at 6.68% on Friday.

The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading flat at its previous close at 6.32% on Friday.
