Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 8,66,676.50 crore on October 7 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,33,63,361.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 23,579.85 crore, Stock Futures Rs 40,851.48 crore and Index Options Rs 7,70,230.92 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 32,014.25 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.85, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.87 and that of Stock Options was 0.67.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on Bosch (14.67), Torrent Pharmaceuticals (2.25), Cummins India (2.04), MRF (2.00) and Zee Entertainment Enterprises (1.11).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 1.71 million units of Open Interest in the October month futures contract, followed by Aurobindo Pharma witnessing an addition of 4.65 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract, HDFC Bank witnessed an addition of 0.94 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract, Axis Bank witnessed an addition of 2.58 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract and Bharat Petroleum Corporation witnessed an addition of 1.02 million units of Open Interest in the October month future contract (Provisional).
