Lupin moves up on getting GMP Certificate from Japan’s PMDA for Mandideep API facility

Lupin is currently trading at Rs. 675.00, up by 6.20 points or 0.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 668.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 667.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 680.00 and Rs. 660.00 respectively. So far 53283 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 914.00 on 31-Oct-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 646.20 on 07-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 708.05 and Rs. 646.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 30440.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.66% and 14.38% respectively.

Lupin has received GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Certificate from the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA), Japan for its Mandideep API facility (Unit II). The GMP Certificate was issued following an inspection conducted by PMDA between May 14, 2019 and May 17, 2019.

The PMDA inspection closed with no critical or major observations. The GMP Certificate issued by PMDA for Mandideep facility (Unit II) is valid till September 2024.
