In response to media article published on October 9, 2019 by moneycontrol.com regarding a potential vulnerability on Just Dial's platforms, Just Dial has clarified that there was vulnerability reported in APIs of one of its platforms, which could potentially be accessed by an expert hacker to gather basic information of a user. The same has already been fixed and there has been no loss of data or any financial loss to the company, its users or its customers. It works with various security researchers to strengthen its platform(s) on a regular basis. The company had approximately 156 million quarterly unique users (for quarter ending June 2019), and it remains fully committed to ensure that user information and other data remains adequately protected.
